This conventional subbdivision design is based on the intent of maximizing the developmetn potential of the site within the legal and physical constraints. |

Key Points: Conventional design divides the site into private lots-denying public access and leaving all important and fragile site resources in private hands. Convetional road and lot layout often ignors site topography and other natural site features in the effort to access and privatize all the land. |
