4. BoardwalkSETTING: on steep riverbanks where there is no level terrain. EXAMPLE: A few short distances (100 +/- feet) where there is no level terrain between railroad tracks and Winooski River. OBJECTIVE: Trail continuity on the north bank of the winooski River. DESIGN: 5-10' wide boardwalk above hight water level supported by veritcal pilings with 42" railing. |
